A Time-Tested, Well-Honed Process

Production starts with carefully selecting pine lumber from stock, inspecting for soundness and characteristic attributes. Once culled, the wood awaits a myriad of hand-hewn styling techniques yielding the desired rustic appearance. Next comes a choice application of natural oils and penetrating stain to all hewed surfaces. The final procedure consist of a four coat, hand-rubbed sealer, thereon assuring protection and preservation. The combined processes, upon completion, provides your finished mantel the reminiscence of a forgone era, notwithstanding the appreciation by future generations.

Although typically sized 5′, 6′ and 7′ in length, 7″ to 8″ in depth, and 5 1/2″ tall, we will commission mantels engineered to your exact dimensions.
